If you have existing pickups that don’t work or aren’t as stellar as they used to be, you’ve come to the right place. JCCP offers rewinds and repairs to bring your old or broken pickups back to the tone they once provided.

Our process starts with a diagnosis to understand what the problem is. Rewinds are only completed if necessary or requested.

We make every effort to keep your pickups as original as possible. That includes winding to specification and visual aesthetics.

Rest assured, JCCP will bring your pickups back to life and communicate with you every step of the way.

Process & Cost

The Process

Complete the Repairs & Rewinds Submission Form using the link below.
We will review your submission and respond to continue the process.
Once confirmed to move forward, an upfront fee of $35 (per pickup) and return shipping (typically $15) is required to initiate the repairs and rewinds process. This upfront fee will be deducted from the total cost of the repair or rewind.
Once paid, you will ship your pickup(s) to us. We will notify you when received.
We will work through the diagnostic process and communicate with you on what we find and recommend. From there, we will send you an invoice for the repairs that we discussed.
Once paid, we will initiate the final work to be completed. All pickups will be wax potted, unless discussed otherwise.
When the work is completed, you will be notified and the pickups will be shipped back to you.

Cost

Upfront diagnostic fee of $35 (per pickup) and return shipping (typically $15). Deducted from the total cost of required work.
General repairs (broken lead wires, bad solder, etc.) is $50 per coil.
Rewinds are $90 per coil (humbuckers =$180, single coils = $90).
